Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi – Drive to Jaipur
Arrive at Delhi airport where our Travel Expedition India representative will greet you and transfer you directly to Jaipur, the Pink City. After check-in at the hotel, relax or explore the local markets at leisure.

Day 2: Jaipur Sightseeing
Explore Jaipur’s highlights including Amber Fort with an optional elephant ride, City Palace, Jantar Mantar Observatory, Hawa Mahal, and Birla Temple. In the evening, enjoy an optional cultural experience at Chokhi Dhani with folk music, dance, and traditional Rajasthani cuisine.

Day 3: Jaipur → Fatehpur Sikri → Agra
Depart Jaipur for Agra, stopping at Fatehpur Sikri, Emperor Akbar’s abandoned capital, to explore its palaces and courtyards. Continue to Agra and check-in at the hotel. Evening at leisure.

Day 4: Agra – Mathura & Vrindavan – Agra
Visit the iconic Taj Mahal early in the morning, followed by Agra Fort. Later, drive to Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, and Vrindavan to visit Bankey Bihari and ISKCON Temples. Return to Agra for overnight stay.

Day 5: Agra → Gwalior (by train)
Take a train to Gwalior. On arrival, check-in and explore Gwalior Fort, Jai Vilas Palace, and the tombs of famous saints and musicians.

Day 6: Gwalior → Orchha
Drive to Orchha, a serene town on the Betwa River. Visit Orchha Fort complex, Jahangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, and Ram Raja Temple. Evening at leisure by the riverside.

Day 7: Orchha → Khajuraho
Travel to Khajuraho to explore its world-famous temples adorned with intricate carvings. Sightsee the Eastern and Western Temple Groups, marveling at the exquisite stonework.

Day 8: Khajuraho → Varanasi via flight
Fly to Varanasi and check-in at the hotel. Visit Sarnath, where Buddha gave his first sermon, exploring its ancient ruins and peaceful monasteries.

Day 9: Varanasi Sightseeing & Ganges Boat Ride
Experience the spiritual ambiance of Varanasi with an early morning boat ride on the Ganges to witness daily rituals. Spend the day exploring the city’s temples, narrow lanes, and vibrant bazaars. Board an overnight train to Delhi.

Day 10: Delhi Sightseeing
Arrive in Delhi and visit Raj Ghat, India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, and the President’s House. Enjoy some leisure time for shopping or optional activities.

Day 11: Departure from Delhi
After breakfast, transfer to Delhi airport for your onward journey, concluding this unforgettable journey through India’s royal heritage and spiritual heartlands.
